Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd let you know that Lia had her cast removed today, she has had more X-rays, she is nervous to move her sore/bad arm, which is understandable bless her.

We go back in 4 weeks for a check up, if all ok then she will be discharged from the fracture/trauma clinic. Now we have to keep a good eye on her to make sure she doesn't fall on her arm etc, she has a slight bend in the arm but will correct itself in time.

Thanks for listening, and thanks for thinking of Lia too, much Love Alison.xxx

Hey Alison,

Glad to hear Lia 's arm is better and moving fine. They take lots of knocks when they are little, but they bounce back. Sorry to hear she has a cold now, it always one thing after another. If you are disturbed during the night try to have a sleep with her in afternoon, I used to do that with mine when they were not well. Have you tried Karvol capsules sprinkled on her jammies, that helps enormously when they are snuffly and in bed at night. Love to you both Lorna xx

So pleased to hear the cast is off. I am sure Lia will soon forget her arm has been sore and start moving it again.
Love to you all

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your messages.....

Yes I do use the Karvol drops which has helped enormously, she hasn't seemed as snuffly today, although now and again has a runny nose, She is doing fine and is moving her arm even more now - a good signThumpUp , now and again she will mention sore arm, she has a white patch on it right where the two bones were broken, I'm hoping that will go in time.
The only problems we are having with Lia - is terrible tantrums, not just one a day but several, finding it quite hard and distressing, this has been going on for a while now, but has got worse since she broke her arm, was thinking maybe a trip to the GP see if they can suggest anything -Huh ...........
Had a nice lie down today after I done some vacuuming while Alan took Lia to feed the ducks, the peace was lovely could hear a pin dropSmile fingers crossed everything will be fine, Thank you all, Much love Alison xxx

Ha - this is the terrible two's, no doubt. Livvie tantrums to order - throws things on the floor, won't eat if we try to feed her, will only wear the clothes she wants to wear etc etc and she spends a lot of time on the naughty spot. I'm sure this will pass - you just have to try and ignore the tantrums and hope that she will realise that this won't make you even more attentive!! In other words, don't fret too much, they all go through it and I am told girls are worse than boys!!

Lots of love

Thank you Jean for the tips, very hard I have to admit, she took another hissy fit today - well several to be honest, and refused to go to bed and shook with fear when I tried to make her go for her afternoon nap.....its as though she remembers thats where she broke her arm and that it was in the afternoon and she doesn't want to go in there in case it happens again! I'm hoping it passes as quick as they arrived!!

Thanks Melly, Yeah will take Lia to the GP and get that white pact looked at just to have a bit of reassurance really that she is ok - speak soon, and thank you both, Much love Alison xxxSmile
